Bourne RUFC Mini and Junior Section

Welcome to the BourneOnLine pages for the Bourne RUFC Mini & Junior Section.

The Mini & Junior Section provides a safe environment for children to learn and enjoy the game of Rugby Union. We have Rugby Football Union qualified coaches in each age group for children in Bourne and it's surrounding villages.

• Practices and matches take place each Sunday morning during the September to May season and start at 10.30am. Age groups span 6-16 years. Both boys and girls can play in the Mini and Junior sections (up to under 13).
• New players are welcome at anytime before and during the season. Simply turn up on a Sunday practice - check out the Fixtures page for details.
• Matches take place at Home and Away venues. Home matches are played at Bourne RUFC. Away matches are played at other local clubs in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties. This year (2008/9) our away fixtures will be at Sleaford, Wisbech, Boston, Grantham (Kesteven), Huntingdon, St Ives, Market Deeping and Market Rasen.
• The Clubhouse is open for parents and children during practice and home match sessions. Refreshments such as tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches are available from the kitchen and the bar opens for the adults after training or matches.
